President Garfield was inspired by Garfield’s bravery and resourcefulness, and he couldn’t help but feel a bit envious of the cat’s unpredictable and chaotic spirit. The two unlikely friends went their separate ways, but President Garfield never forgot the peculiar and chaotic encounter, and he often reminisced about it with a smile, marveling at the random and perplexing events of life…
